The UK Intellectual Property Office in the last week have announced a few updates to their trade mark service.

Always looking to keep their system up to date and in line with technology, the UK IPO have updated some of their digital services.

The services affected are in relation to:

  • The response to a trade mark examination letter
  • Response to Right Start trade mark examination letter

The method for accessing these services will stay the same but the appearance of the pages you will encounter will have changed in order for you to navigate them more effectively.

These changes will take effect on the 3rd November (tomorrow!)

It is important that if you have any draft replies saved for later, these are completed or saved in another place before the 3rd as once the system changes, all draft replies will be no longer available.
