Who should be the owner of my EU trademark?

A trademark has to be owned by a legal entity: an individual or limited company.

It is very important that you keep us informed of any changes made to your personal details, such as new contact telephone number, etc.

If you are a company, you need to provide us with the following details

  • Full name and legal form
  • Country of registration
  • Address

Individual

If you are an individual, you need to provide us with the following details

  • Name and surname
  • Nationality
  • Address

If you have employed us as your agents all official correspondence will come through us. We may need to contact you from time to time as please make sure that you inform us of any change in address.

If you live outside the EU then you need to appoint a representative if you wish to file an EU trademark application. We can do this for you.
