International Trademarks
Fees for international marks will depend on the specific countries you wish to have your trademark registered in, including those countries which are signatories to the Madrid Protocol.
There are currently 81 countries who have signed up to the Protocol, giving wide scope for registration under the framework.
In relation to applying for registration using the Protocol you will need a national trade mark application in place (UK or EU). If you feel that international registration is appropriate please contact us first. Costs in association with an international application will be dependent on a range of factors, and as such we will need to prepare a cost specification based on your individual needs.
If you do not have a UK or EU application we can file direct in the country of your choice- again price on request.
If your chosen country is not party to the Madrid Protocol we can file direct and if you only wish to gain protection in one country then again it maybe cheaper to file in that country direct.
